What difference?Reader comment on item: [Pakistani Christians and] A War Against What? Submitted by Jake (United States), Aug 19, 2006 at 14:42 A superficial jusxtaposition. The Christian version has God deciding after you die whether you will spend eternity in paradise or hell. The belief that God will send you to hell as a non-believer does not entitle the Christian to kill you with impunity. The Muslim version knows what God will do with you after death so, as an infidel, your life is forfeit now (and it's OK for the believer to dispatch you now not only with impunity but with the belief that he will be assured of his heavenly reward). Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
