Militant Islam is the greatest threat

Reader comment on item: [Pakistani Christians and] A War Against What?

Submitted by Damien (Australia), Oct 2, 2002 at 14:05

Thank you for your article. Indeed the so called war on terrorism is nothing less than a war on Islamism, and rightly so.It is without doubt the greatest threat to the civilised world and has already gone unchecked for too long, resulting in the heinous events of September the 11th.

Never mind Muslim sensitivities. The threat is real, and moderate Muslims must do more in condemning militant Islam otherwise Islam in general will be perceived as an extreme and dangerous religion.
