Dissenters from Regressive Fanatic Islam

Reader comment on item: [Pakistani Christians and] A War Against What?

Submitted by Jamal Khan (United States), Oct 3, 2002 at 17:33

This is to comment on Mr. Mark Leo's posting of Oct. 3. The two leading dissenters who host the most popular dissenting websites of Islam are Dr. Ibn Warraq (secularislam.org) of U.S.A and and Dr Ali Sina (faithfreedom.org) of Canada. The reason you don't see these guys (and other scholars and intelectuals who write on their websites), in public forums/ media, is the very reason Salman Rushdie is in the hiding.

Quran and hadeeses decree that all muslim dissenters/critics must be killed, and the killers are rewarded with paradise. That is how dissenters and critics have been silenced for the last 1400 years starting from the days of Mohammad.

Now the advent of internet has given a forum for the dissenters to express their views without being killed, therfore more and more dissenters are getting encouraged to write on these websites.

For the first time in the history of islam the critical analysis of Quran and uncensored biography of Mohammad is within the reach of the figertips of a common man.
