The Characterization is WrongReader comment on item: [Pakistani Christians and] A War Against What? Submitted by George Valdshtein (Israel), Oct 2, 2002 at 03:15 Dear Sir,For a long time I have been disturbed by the phrase "War Against Terror". However, your phrase, "…a war on terroristic version of Islam," is also not clear and not precise. A war cannot be against an idea that is not a concrete substance. The war must and can be only against people supporting and executing the directions of some terroristic ideology – terrorists and their supporters -- including societies developing, supporting and following these ideologies.
