Your scholarship is surpassed by your courage!

Dr.Pipes, I have long been an admirer of your scholarship, but I now think it is surpassed by your courage! It is about time that militant Islamic terrorists are called just that, and not by euphemistically cowardly descriptions such as "evil doers" and the like.

I realize that everyone commenting on the murders of innocent people, all over the world, is reluctant to offend members of the Islamic faith by juxtaposing the word "Islamic"with the word "murderer", but in this case, it must be done. If the traditional Muslims in this country, and around the world, neglect to do their duty by their religion by openly combating the murderers in their midst, they are contributing to the concealment of the identities of these savages, all in the interests of protecting the fair name of their religion. By so doing, they are signing their own death warrants and sanctioning the killing of Christians and Jews and other such "infidels"all over the world.

I have been waiting for someone to tell the unvarnished truth, and it seems that you are the only one in the public eye, with the possible exception of Bernard Lewis, who has had courage enough to do so.
