Moral Equivocation = Evil

Reader comment on item: [Pakistani Christians and] A War Against What?

To call something a lie without ever addressing the merits of the facts presented is a MOST UNCONVINCING ARGUMENT. Yet that is all Safia here can do... I always thought that you cannot deny facts, but Safia sure showed me.

Others here make the mistake of moral equivocation. These slanderers would find some moral equivocation between the "crimes" of the US (against who?), Israel (in self-defense against arabs pledged to her destruction?), Russia (in self-defense against Chechen terrorists/separatists?), India, et al., and the crimes against humanity of a particular religion that, alone among ALL the world's religions, openly calls for the murder of all in the world who are not among its practitioners. This particular religion is responsible for the deaths of tens, if not hundreds, of millions of its non-believers over the past 1400 years.

Another poster wants to know why the US hasn't gone after Irish-Americans because of McVeigh, or Polish-Americans because of Kaczinski. ...The US HAS waged internal against all those practitioners of McVeigh's and Kaczinski's ideologies. Ethnicity has nothing to do with it.

It's the ideology... And we are at war with it.
