Islam is not brainwashing your son

Dear sister I am a muslim and I can tell you that if your son has abandoned you and stopped talking to you, he is practising Islam, It is his wife who is making him. In Islam we believe that heaven is at the mothers feet therefore when you please God, you must please your mother. Please be patient, and please be assured that the fact that he has stopped talking to you is not because of Islam. Please don't judge a religion by it's people judge a religion by itself.
