in response to reader comment: Destroy the cause of terrorism

Your post was very interesting because you titled it 'destroy the cause of terrorism' and then stated the following:

"The situation caused them to become terrorists. The foreign policies of countries such as the United States and Israel are to be blamed for the emergence of Islamic terrorist group such as Al Qaeda and Hamas. The reckless leaders of these countries are the ones who caused much hate and anger in people and unfortunately these people could not take the oppression and unfairness and they became rebellious and resort to terrorism."

By stating destroy the cause of terrorism and going on to blame the USA & Israel, you are basically saying to destroy them. The foreign policies of a country are basically just what they are....policies. If another country disagrees with the policy, they are free to open a dialogue...they don't put people on airplanes and crash them in to buildings. To blame the United States of America and Israel for the poverty and lack of education in Islamic countries is a gross injustice and it is dodging the real causes. Look to the leadership of the individual countries that are making the laws and guidelines for their people to live by. I, for one, am tired of hearing that its the foreign policies that drive extremism when it is apparent that many governments such as Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Syria, etc. are dictatorship type countries and the people are oppressed by their own governments. Its time that Muslims take responsibility for the "cause of terrorism" and look to their own countries before they start blaming outside of their country. Its time for Muslims to educate themselves and to question their own government policies.

Of course I realize that this is really not practical as they will end up in prison or worse, but for once I would like them to put the blame squarely on the shoulders of the people who support and fund extremism as a means to force their will on others. The United States of America is by no means perfect, but we do take responsibility for our actions and we are the most generous nation in the world. Ask yourself how many times has the USA sent any young person to a foreign country to board a commercial airline with the intention of murdering as many "unbelievers" as they can? And as for the statement of unbeliever, I take it to mean because I am Christian I do not believe in God. This is an insult not only to myself, but to our creator. Stop the silly excuses and blaming and take a good long look in the mirror...you may be surprised at what you see.
