We needed Saudia Arabia like a fish needs a fish hook.

Reader comment on item: A Saudi Prince's Threat to the Obama Administration

Submitted by Phil Greend (Canada), Aug 12, 2009 at 19:39

I know that quote is usually "a woman needs a man like a fish needs a bike."

The people of Saudia Arabia at times have helped the West, at times have been neutral and at times have been very very hostile.

The Saudis have funded many terror groups and supported the spread of islam by the sword.

So if we lose the support of Saudia Arabia, no big loss.

If it is choice between helping the good people of Israel to survive or remaining "friends" with the Saudia Arabians, the decision is easy.
