in response to reader comment: MISCONCEPTION AND MISLEADING OF THE TRUTH FROM THE HOLY QURAN

Nozzi, you wrote:

>>A good Muslim that would take time to meditate the Holy Quran would know that Allah is the Most Merciful.<<

Nozzi, as a good Muslim meditate on this verse:

8:67 PICKTHAL: It is not for any prophet to have captives until he hath made slaughter in the land. Ye desire the lure of this world and Allah desireth (for you) the Hereafter, and Allah is Mighty, Wise.

>>As Allah is the Most Merciful, he surely desires many non-Muslims to become Muslims and that is why we, moderate Muslims, have to reach out to them to share the good news about Allah from the Holy Quran to their ultimate repentance.<<

How will explain to the shocked non-Muslim that 8:67 quoted above is really a verse full of the mercy of Allah.

>>Not only that, we have to show good morale so that many non-Muslims might turn back to be a Muslim in time to come.<<

I will repent and turn back if you can me give a convincing explanation for verse 8:67.

Regards

Plato
