Look friend you ought to back up those statistics with actual resources and cite them please. Moreover, Jihad= exerting yourself for the will of God alone and nothing else. So, you might ask what is this will and how might we know what God wills ? Well God= Pure justice, goodness and mercy + God is the god of all and the one and only creator of reality + god loves all people regardless of their religion; therefore, jihad may be illustrated in a scientist trying to unravel the mysteries of the universe so that humanity learns more of god's creations( HE MUST NOT DO THIs FOR FAME,MONEY....) Or in a priest preaching acceptance and tolerance and working for the unity of mankind as a whole( Not for personal gain) Or in a person liberating his homeland from invaders( not to become another tyrant, but rather to keep his people alive) This is what Jihad is, not what ousama says or what bush says or what the press says. Islam= Surrender to god's will. Jihad is thus an inner struggle and an external one but not in the warlike and tribal sense you think it is.

A reminder of course whether it be islam christianity or judaism, buddhism shamanism or shinto... All religions have been mutilated to mesh with political ambitions everywhere and in everytime. The Crusades, the Jihad, or zionism...All terms in which the lords of war and destruction, those cannot but feed on the crys of the suffering utiliza to rally as much supporters as possible for their wars on terror, on the enemies of God and Justice, on the agents of evil... Do not fall prey to these wicked attemts at robbing your soul and will allways stay focused and never let bigotry and mere hatred fed to you by others overwhelm your mind... Focus!

I am from lebanon and I am a moslem and in lebanon like in any other are exist the fanatics, the fools and the bigots who try to tell us that moslems are right and jews are enemies whilst others say that christians are right and moslems ware the enimies whilst in isreal people are taught that moslems are enemies and jews are right.......This is all but propaganda.

Look at the world now the once beautiful vase has been broken into pieces which inturn have broken into more and more pieces all in the name of Allah, The Lord, Shahwa... but aimed for profit gain and self achievment rather than self sacrifice...

See the thing for what it really is and not for what you think it is...
