Submitted by furqan wali khattak (Pakistan), Nov 7, 2003 at 23:17 jihad is an arabic word which means "to strive for something". in real words it means war against those who are doing harms to Islam. So it means the freedom struggle of Kashmiris is a jihad, freedom movement in Palestine is a jihad, Chechan movement is a jihad. Americans are trying to give harm to Islam and they want to (Allah forbid) cease Islam.but they wont succeed in their intentions.Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
