Submitted by Farhan (United States), Dec 21, 2009 at 03:05 first of all, congrats you did your research, but you forgot a few things, the word awliya or wali is used only in terms of "friend of god" in the quran, it is short for waliullah "friends of god" so it says don't make them friends of god, or don't hold them in your mosque (at least in their disbelief). oh you also forgot on detail which makes your whole comment useless. "emigrate" means to move OUT of a land, so surah 4:89 means, at least in common man's english, "they try to convert you, as they have been, so don't take them into your mosque so that they move out of your land in the way of Allah, and if they come back, take hold of them and kill them." basically you just proved that jihad is only to be used when invaded, and in defense. good job once again.
