Jihad vs Constitutional lawReader comment on item: What is Jihad? Submitted by GunslingerA10 (Saudi Arabia), Nov 14, 2009 at 12:58 Jihad- The defense of ones property and religious rights. Jihad is an Arabic word that like many English words has a meaning that can vary from zero to infinite in the protection on ones personal property. The amount of force to deter or defend only need be enough to secure ones rights. In other words, if a robber breaks into your home you can, and should defend your family and property, and if you need to use lethal force, so be it. As would any law officer, who will fire upon a bank robber fleeing the seen guns blazing. I suppose the only reason people in America don't commit as many capital crimes as they might otherwise is because they believe deep down in their heart of hearts that the American Justice (Jihad) system will punish them to the full extent of the law. On a lighter point, don't touch my sandwich in the cafeteria or I will sock your eye, much of this is already know in the western world, we seem to have to rehash these old ideas again because of the inclusion of Islam into the larger group of westerners.
