Submitted by neighorhoodcomplete (Canada), Aug 1, 2003 at 01:35 jihad is any form 'struggle' against oppression. whether it's against ones own ego or against an opressor. Ofcourse 'jihad' can be used for wrongful means (killing innocent people). However, the actions of people in no way distort the meaning of this term.The fact that I am writing in, explaining jihad, is a form 'jihad' in itself (jihad of the pen to be precise).
