I've just read Dr. Daniel Pipes' article,"Amazon.com's Koran Desecration Problem", at:

It's disappointing that Amazon takes such drastic measures based on what fits so well into a pattern of Islamist false accusations. (see http://www.danielpipes.org/article/2627)

Even if the incident did take place, it is doubtful that Bellweather had anything to do with it, and punishing them, even symbolically, is a win for those who want to harm the US, our interests, and citizens.
