Amazon's apology over markings in a used Koran

Reader comment on item: Amazon.com's Koran Desecration Problem

Email to Patty Smith, Amazon.com

I am a regular customer of Amazon, and so I was disappointed by your over-reaction to the incident with Bellwether's inadvertant mailing of a used Koran that happened to have been marked up. (You ought to see MY Koran !)

First of all, people who buy used books can't insist that they arrive in perfect condition. Secondly, Bellwether is a third party, and you have no control over their "quality control." Finally, all Americans -- regardless of their race or religious beliefs -- should consciously resist the active agenda of Islamists to push us into "dhimmitude" status. (One of the books I bought from Amazon is Eurabia -- the Euro-Arab Axis by Bat Ye'or. This author argues that Moslem extremists will not rest until all infidels are under their thumbs. You have been their latest conquest.
