Notes in a Koran

Reader comment on item: Amazon.com's Koran Desecration Problem

Submitted by Donald W. Bales (United States), May 20, 2005 at 14:30

When are the SWAMPS going to start doing such things. SWAMPS-straight white Anglo-Saxon male Protestants. That is a bashed and bashable minority. We should start agitating for special privileges and rights and start complaining about being maligned, ignored, and discriminated against.
I am a SWAMP. I am retired so don't want a government or corporation job, don't want a government contract, and don't want any reparations, but there are a lot of younger SWAMPS who are getting a raw deal.
I have read that fewer men are in college now than women. Could it be that the men find the academy to be an hostile environment for them? Is that why they don't go there?
