Ridiculous Spin!

Reader comment on item: Amazon.com's Koran Desecration Problem

Submitted by Ada Evans (United States), May 21, 2005 at 22:28

Azza Basarudin's words are ridiculous: "... I couldn't even go near this book for a couple of days. I feel like I'm being violated all over again because I'm a Muslim." Muslims were violated on 9/11? Muslims committed the atrocities of 9/11! Muslims raped and pillaged all over Europe for centuries.

Basarudin needs to get over her persecution complex. She isn't the one being persecuted. In the 21st Century, the militant followers of Islam are the persecutors, not the ones being persecuted.

Any pandering to these persecutors and to their representatives CAIR and MPAC, is foolish--and dangerous. Furthermore, comparing a nasty comment written in a book to the events of 9/11 shows just how screwed up their values system is.
