[Letter] Amazon's Mistreatment of Bellwether

Reader comment on item: Amazon.com's Koran Desecration Problem

Submitted by Jared Nuzzolillo (United States), May 21, 2005 at 14:14

[Dear Amazon,]

I am a frequent customer of Amazon books. I am appalled that Amazon would submit to such bullying from the MPAC. Bellwether books did not "desecrate" the Koran and they should not be punished for it.

Please know that most regular Americans will support you should you take a stand against the MPAC. We are frankly sick to death of Politically [in]Correct organizations attempting to frighten the American public into providing special benefits and protections for Muslims. Companies that submit to CAIR's, MPAC's [...et al] demands only encourage these divisive organization's to blackmail
respectable corporations and citizens.

Bellwether's record of 11267 positive comments (with only 1 negative) speaks for itself.

Please, please, please, do not contribute support of any kind to MPAC. I implore you to restore Bellwether's full rights as an associate bookseller and to reject any and all demands of support for MPAC, monetary or otherwise.

Thank you,
Jared Nuzzolillo

PS Amazon has a reputation for doing the right thing. I know you will!
