Traumatized Azza

Reader comment on item: Amazon.com's Koran Desecration Problem

The Muslim, "we are the victims and the persecuted of the world" propaganda is becoming both unashamedly stupid and unbearably tiresome. Firstly, Muslims represent the largest religious majority in the world. So according to Muslims, we need to adopt the reality that the small guys are always picking on the big guys.Next we need to show compassion and respect for the people who have perpetrated more calamities and religious and ethnic cleansing in the last twenty years than any other religion and continue to do so to this day. When three thousand lives were lost in Manhattan, approved and sanctioned by Islam ideology, Muslims were seen celebrating in the streets of Muslim nations. When care workers in Iraq were captured and beheaded, did we hear any complaints from Muslims? Are Muslims dismayed that it is illegal to carry a Bible in Saudi Arabia? Are Muslims lamenting that of the thirty some violent conflicts in the world today, that Muslims are involved in all of them? Are not Muslims embarassed that the common propaganda preached in Muslim countries is that the Jews were responsible for the destruction of the Trade Towers in Manhattan and not a single Jew was killed when evidence proves the opposite?

Basarudin was so traumatized by the foolish epitaph in the Qur'an. But was she traumatized by the hundreds of Muslims in England who gathered together to publicly demand death to President Bush and Prime Minister Blair because of a false report from Guantanamo Bay? Was she traumatized to watch Pakistanis burning American flags in the streets to express their anger against the flushing of pages of the Qur'an down toilets by the guards when it is becoming evident that Muslim prisoners were the ones responsible?

We are becoming so politically correct that after the Trade Tower tragedy, President Bush invited a number of Muslim Clerics to the White House to illustrate that He did not hold Islam responsible for that hideous crime and at least two of those invitees are not sitting in jail because of their participation and support of the Jihadists.

Was Basarudin embarrassed when Canada held a discussion forum regarding the Trade Tower tragedy, a burka clad woman rushed up on stage shrieking that the Americans were to blame because of their policies for Israel and they brought this tragedy down on themselves?

The moral compass of the Western world is spinning out of control to the point that we hardly pay any attention to the crimes perpetrated by Muslim terrorists, like murdering over a thousand innocent Jews, yet we are over come with guilt because some fool wrote an invective against Islam and for all we know it may very well have been a Muslim, who knew that our political correctness would cause us to punish ourselves and perhaps throw cash at their organization as a show of repentance.
