My letter to Ms Smith

Reader comment on item: Amazon.com's Koran Desecration Problem

Re: Your complicity in furthering the Islamic agenda.

Dear Ms Smith:

As I understand it, Amazon has caved in to MPAC and CAIR - organizations with demonstrated ties to Islamic terrorist organizations such as Hamas - over a USED Koran which they claim, with no evidence, was already defaced upon receipt.

Furthermore, in what can only be described as attempted extortion, MPAC is demanding that Amazon donate to support its agenda of increasing Islamic influence in America.

As an Amazon customer, I am very disappointed and will be taking my business elsewhere. It will be more expensive and less convenient, but at least this way not a farthing of mine will, directly or indirectly, go to support these organizations whose activities can only be described as treasonable.

Although it is only a remote possibility that you have not already reviewed it, you might take a look at the Daniel Pipes' article concerning this issue:

Lastly, I will be forwarding this e-mail to my many book loving friends who shop at Amazon far more than I do.

Of course, I might be mistaken, and would very much like to hear that is the case.
