Reader comment on item: Amazon.com's Koran Desecration Problem

Submitted by E Ross (United States), May 20, 2005 at 12:41

I read with interest your article on the Amazon situation. I have forwarded my comments to Amazon, pleading with them NOT to apologize to MPAC, nor should they hold Bellwether responsible. \

I buy used books all the time and never do I expect the seller to peruse every page to be sure nothing will offend me, the buyer. I want a general description of the condition of the book. Why do these corporations kowtow to these small special interest groups? Insanity.
