Reader comment on item: What Do Terrorists Want? [A Caliphate and Shari'a]
in response to reader comment: Muslims are responsible for explaining the Qur'an

Well said, Marc!
Mohammed is like many muslims either in denial or in sympathetic to the jihadis. History has shown as in this dialogue with Westerners and muslims that victory goes to the civilization with the greatest ideas. And it is because of this that the West shall win against the Islamists. The middle east like, many muslims who emmigrate to the West, are adopting Western values, because they are liberating.

They liberate the mind, heart and soul and women, from the submission to arrogant clerics and 9 year old girls from having to marry 40 year old men... Lastly, the hypocrisy of muslims who say that the terrorists don't represent Islam and only if Islam were practiced the way it was in the days of the prophet is incredible. What would Islam look like if it were practiced in the days of the prophet? It would look alot like whats happening today: beheadings, murders, the marrying of prepubescent girls to old men-in culturally muslim countries, violence and yes peace.......sweet peace, when hedgemony is completed by the Caliphate.

Not to be presumptuous, but the philosopher Machiavelli once said that a people who have once tasted freedom and a republican form of government can never be conqured by tyrannts. Thus the West will never be conquered by Islamists.
