THE unanswered questionReader comment on item: What Do the Terrorists Want? [A Caliphate] Submitted by jennifer solis (United States), Aug 28, 2007 at 21:16 Mr. Pinsonnault's observation of the overwhelming majority of Muslims who do not within their own countries and communities correct the problem of "radical Muslims" themselves; to me it's a good question. Sometimes it's easy to get "bogged down" in the seemingly endless avenues of why, or what does / does not perpetuate this multi - faceted war. The "caliphate" explains quite alot, over-view wise. Shari'a Law; the strictest interpretation of the Qu'ran. The populace in the Muslim countries, communities just lay low (if you're not radical), and someday all this could be yours. The Great Sha'tan, the United States, gets rid of "radical" Christians. Example: Jim Jones; David Koresh. Our rule of law insists on this. Your rule of law (Shari'a law) doesn't. Ergo, "Caliphate or Die". Go ahead. -JS Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
