What Do the Terrorists Want? [A Caliphate]Reader comment on item: What Do the Terrorists Want? [A Caliphate] Submitted by Firozali A.Mulla MBA PhD (United Arab Emirates), Oct 27, 2007 at 22:06 What Do the Terrorists Want? [A Caliphate] It cannot be caliphate as the word caliph stems from the leader in peace. The caliphs since long long years had preached peace all he time. The religion now is so diluted that it is a pseudo religion. Let us look at some facts in what exactly happened in the English and American history. The Asians of all category steles in UK and USA as there seemed to be enough opportunity in the West and there was money. This was not available in India and Pakistan. I will emphasize more on Indian community as I find that the Indian communities coming form India are better then the Pakistan who had severed the relationship with India in 1945/46 Mostly the army people have ruled the Pakistan since then. India has democracy, a big democracy that I do not see in Pakistan. The religious tolerance is better in India the in Pakistan. All regions are stable in India. The Sunnis and Shias fight in Pakistan. With the division in the one religion that was left if there are pieces, I am afraid the division is sad. Then the English tolerated the residents in UK and USA and American population as these immigrants were hard working and needed the basic requirement compared t the elite This carried on until Osama blowing the Twin Towers in USA. This was never in the books of caliphs This then created the extremism in Islam. Alternatively, rephrased terrorism but Islam I have yet to find the meaning of extremism I thank you Firozali A.Mulla MBA PhD P.O.Box 6044 Dar-Es-Salaam Tanzania East Africa Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
