What's truly amazing about the exodus of African-Americans from Christianity to Islam is their ignorance of what the Quran has to say about blacks. For example, Sura 3:106-107 states that on Judgment Day only whites will gain paradise while blacks will be condemned to hell.

Obviously, many blacks are converting to Islam for cultural reasons rather than spiritual reasons. Muhammed, who is Islam's exalted prophet, often referred to blacks as "raisin-heads."
When one compares the Quran to the Bible, it certainly isn't difficult to understand that Islam is truly "the white man's religion."
