" Why is islam the fastest growing religion in the world"? Answer: Because muslims are the greatest breeders and, being polygamists, they enjoy multiple advantages of seeing their tribe multiply not only in geometric proportions, but exponentially.

I am prepared to concede the point that islam may not preach hatred against Jews and Christians. The fact, however, remains, that since his early childhood, every single muslim is brainwashed into believing that every non-muslim happens to be his enemy and he is not to befriend him , that islam is superior to every other religion on earth and that the entire planet must be brought under the banner of islam. Ever since the world of islam shut its doors to 'ijtihad', sometime in the 11th century, A.D., there has been a continuous downslide in its fortunes- economic, political, and military. True, the Ottomans may have established an empire that lasted for some centuries, yet, where are the Turks in world politics today ? Not even on the periphery. The present strife between islam and the non-muslim world arises largely on account of islam's pretensions to provide an alternative model to the democratic welfare and capitalistic state as provided by the Western world. And lastly, to the much tom tommed conversion to islam that Mr. Rehman talks about, there are plenty who are leaving the fold silently and unobserved every day. What does he have to say to that ?
