in response to reader comment: conversion to Islam and the Burdah

The logic of Bader S is very impressive. He states; if we examine the number of Muslims that carried out suicide missions, we will find that it is an insignificant number when compared with the number of Muslims there are in the world. He is absolutely correct. So what is the big deal about 19 Muslims killing 3000 Americans on Sept 11 and causing 100 billion dollars in property damage?

After all over 50,000 Americans die in auto accidents every year. And there are approximately 280 million Americans and 1.5 billion Muslims. Further more, over 60% of Muslims do not even believe that Muslims were responsible. This act should never have made the headlines. And so what if thousands of Muslims around the world rejoiced when the twin towers in New York collapsed to the ground? Thousands of Muslims rejoicing, compared to 1.5 billion is insignificant.

Furthermore, Bader's mother has been reading Qur'an for 50 years and has never bombed or killed anyone. So why are we over reacting against Muslims? Obviously Bader's mother is important positive proof that very few if any Muslims carry out terrorist acts. And why all the attention to Beslam, where Muslims killed over 300 school children? Children die in accidents every day. Consider this small list of Islamic attacks on March 11. See, Muslims have a sense of humor. Obviously, the 11th day of the month is special to them. By the way Bader, do you think that it has anything to do with September 11?

3/11/05 Philippines 5 killed 4 wounded
3/11/04 Afghanistan 2 killed 3 wounded
3/11/04 Indonesia 1 killed 5 wounded
3/11/04 Iraq 2 killed 1 wounded
3/11/04 Spain 201 killed 1500 wounded
3/11/03 India 2 killed 9 wounded
3/11/03 Afghanistan 3 killed 5 wounded
3/11/03 UAR Dhaka 2 killed 2 wounded
3/11/02 Pakistan 4 killed

Since 9/11/2001, Muslims have carried out an insignificant 4,451 deadly terror attacks. From February 26, 2006 to March 4, 2006, only 258 people were killed. Lets face it, compared to 6.5 billion people on earth, 258 is a small number. Our astute friend Bader is correct. What's the big deal about 4,451 people when the population is 6.5 billion, why that's only .0003 percent.

Thanks to you Bader, I am going to stop obsessing over this insignificant number of Islamic terrorist attacks and get on with my life.
