If the King of Pop Converts to Islam

I see my fellow African Americans who have trouble with the "system" try to avoid it by converting to a religion that most of us in America are unsure of. I as a person of color understand their need to grab a hold of something that they think will make them feel better.

As a son of the south and a believer in civil rightsI had a problem with the military and some of its members on the "downlow". Instead of giving up the Methodist church I changed from AME Zion to United Methodist and decided to hire some attorneys and use the system instead of turning away from it (I must admit the FBI does not like what I am doing but I think the civil rights community will be pleased). Funny so many people in society these days are trying to destroy what we have instead of working to make it better. I am proud to be an American and I have two Arabs serving as my current physicians and I could not be happier. Look what is happening is we are losing a great many members of society and we need to look at why this is happenning. I work to bring people together and not to destroy what we have. I look forward to change but not with a high price tag including destroying that which makes love this country. We had better look at how things are going because in a couple of generations we will be looking at Latin America and South America and wondering where all the disapproval came from. We are not bad people but neither are they.
