in response to reader comment: conversion to Islam and the Burdah

I read the Quran. I did not "convert" to Islam. I don't respect the leaders, because they are misleading poor people, who are mostly illiterate and cannot read themselves. I don't go to mosque. I respect Allah and Quran, and that is it. I love Jesus, because he was our prophet too. And, check again in Quran, because one there are some interesting statements in there:

"And when they are told: 'Do not promote rebellion [against God] in the land [by hindering people from believing in the Prophet[13]]', they say: 'We, indeed, are the ones reforming[14]'. They, surely, are promoting rebellion but are not mindful of it. When it is said to them: 'Believe [in the Prophet] as these people[15] have believed'. They say: 'Should we believe like these idiots[16]?' Indeed, these are the ones who are idiots, but [yet] they know it not[17]"

Now, that is what I am talking about. And the above sura shows that there is hypocrisy among the so-called leaders ... That is why I don't respect those who promote violence and terrorism, because I find so many statements in Quran which are saying to the people: don't make a fuss on earth ... But what is happening in our time and space is another thing.

And your words are not going to turn me away from my belief - just the opposite, I love it even more, and I want to be an example that Islam is not terrorism. You have your belief and I will have mine.
