Michael Jackson conversion

Reader comment on item: King of Pop Michael Jackson and Black Converts to Islam

Submitted by Mark (United Arab Emirates), Mar 7, 2006 at 11:35

So I wonder how far down the conversion road Michael Jackson will go? After Shadawa will he change his name? Maybe to something like Marwan?

Will he grow a beard? (kind of a waste of all that plastic surgery I guess)

Face it, Michael was once king of pop but more recently he has totally gone wierd. Converting to Islam is the next obvious step...

I have read the Koran and have to admit it has had a powerful influence on me in helping me to turn against religion and accept atheism. I have never read such a polemic 'religious' document. Any muslims that may read this, my apologies for any possible offense but we might as well call a spade a spade.

Personally I don't think Michael is tough enough to be a muslim. he will need to have his own personal mosque or the shabab are gonna eat him for breakfast..
