in response to reader comment: conversion to Islam and the Burdah

When you say ""making a pattern about Christians.. and priests molesting chidlren'", I'm not sure I understand what you mean, but I think you missed my point which has to do with the religion of Islam and not the behaviour of individuals. When a Christian priest or a rabbi is caught molesting children, they are punished like the common criminals that they are. You can't make a pattern out of that. That devious activity they engaged in, they did not get from the Bible ! There is no : "THOU SHALT MOLEST CHOIR BOYS" in the Bible is there ?

The Qur'an, however, is full of injunctions to fight and kill the infidels or subdue them into Dhimmis. It's full of violence to do in the name of Allah, to be a martyr in the name of Allah with promises of paradise, where perpetual virgins await you and rivers flowing with wine..etc..etc.. ..I could go on with so many other satanic overtones and the endless threats of punishment of hell fire contained in the Qur'an.. but I won't ..(for if I did, the Daniel Pipes' staff would censure it off anyway, as they often do).

That is the DIFFERENCE that you people don't get. Or you get it but you choose to ignore it.

The Qur'an is your pattern. The Qur'an is your constitution, a blue-print for disaster. And that blue-print is further elaborated by the imams and religious leaders into an intensive indoctrination. Think, for example, of those poor 19-20 year old boys in Gaza and elsewhere strapping themselves with explosives and blowing themselves up. Did you know that many of these poor souls, before committing their deed, wrap their genital area in towels so as to "protect" it? See, Sumeja, they are certain that the virgins promised in the Qur'an will be there when they arrive in paradise. That's how irreparably damaging that indoctrination is.

You say ""God taught me to respect ... other religions"". No way pal !! Your Allah did not teach you that. If that's what you think, then they sold you a bill of goods when you converted into Islam. I would strongly advise you to read the Qur'an AND some Hadith, with a critical eye (just a tiny tiny bit). You might see for yourself that Allah does not teach anything of the sort. You might see among other atrocities Allah's vivid descriptions of the specifics of hell's torments in intense blazing fire..In the Hadith you will discover that the Nabi was a violent pirate and a pedophile (if you don't know this, ask around)

You mention in your post :""carefully picking individual fragments""..and ""choosing what they like and eliminating what doesn't suit their pattern""...That's precisely what muslims do all the time, especially the clerics and the teachers . In fact they are masters at it. That is why they succeed in attracting so many gullible people to espouse Islam. And my point in my post was : people should get the full story before they jump in
