Bader S Response to Bisvas and Muddled Jewish History

Reader comment on item: King of Pop Michael Jackson and Black Converts to Islam

On Mar 10, 2006, Bader S submitted a number of questions which can be considered legitimate.

However, quite predictably, he submitted a question intended to obscure a lie and mask it as the truth. And this deceptive question is: Did the Jewish Europeans not snatch land from Palestinians through violence, deceit, terror etc?

The answer is emphatically NO! Instead of listening to Muslim lies, I recommend reading reliable history books. May I suggest, From Time Immemorial, The History of Israel, and The Middle East. Should you choose to enlighten yourself and read these books, here is what you will learn.

Because of the continuous propaganda war waged by the Palestinians, the world has come to believe that the nation of Israel was created from land owned and inhabited by Arab Palestinians. Nothing could be further from the truth. In 1840, Mark Twain traveled through out the area of Israel. He found the land barren, desolate and uninhabited except for some nomadic Bedouins, migrant Arabs and small communities inhabited by Jews. By 1890, Jews began to settle the area with the expectation that Israel would become their homeland. In 1917 the League of Nations decided to create a homeland for the Jews. This intention was confirmed by the Balfour Declaration in December 1917.

The land set aside by the League of Nations and transferred to the administration of Britain included the present land of Israel and the land now known as Jordan. The League of Nations and Britain did not confiscate land inhabited by Arabs and designate it for the Jews. Yet that is what the world believes. Why? Because the Jews decided settle the land, prepare it and make it agriculturally productive, without concerning themselves as to whether the world understood the history of the creation of Israel. The Arabs on the other hand began a propaganda war that they were being robbed of their homeland. The Jews did not respond to the propaganda war, and today the consequences are obvious. The world believes the horrendous lie that the Jews robbed the Arabs of the land they now inhabit. Furthermore Britain mishandled their mandate and allocated the area of Jordan to the Arabs contrary to the intent of the League of Nations.

Today, the Jews occupy less than 10% of the land that was originally set aside for them by the League of Nations.
