M Jackson Esq makes 'Shahadah 'Testimony of Faith'

Reader comment on item: King of Pop Michael Jackson and Black Converts to Islam

Submitted by H Simpson (United Kingdom), Sep 2, 2007 at 11:07

That much trouble King of Pop, Michael Jackson could do worse. As a Muslim, it will give him a 'program of life' to follow, but he has to be serious about it. It is no good, and is not acceptable for trouble celebreties to 'embrace Islam' if it is only done as an outward show, and as a 'Fashion statement' -- that would be totally meaningless. Converting to any faith has to be genuine, and has to be something that the convert has a commitment to for life...not just for Thanksgiving!!

He will also have to change his attitudes and behaviours... So, his bizarre behaviour will have to be dumped as well.
