So what if they did? Basically, what you're implying is that Muslims are no better than Christians and Jews. Which subsequently means that Islam is no more perfect (and just as corrupt and impotent) a system as Christianity and Judiaism in dealing with slavery, and has just as little to offer as their Abrahamic counterparts.

Sorry, moral equivalence arguments simply highlight how Islam isn't as perfect as it claims to be, that it merely shares good company with all the other imperfect systems that have developed throughout human history.
