can you define according to Quran and hadits, what is meant in islam by mischief?

can you give us some definitions?

because that is a bit vague. everyone, including you can be accused of spreading mischief in earth and thus be a legitimate target of moslem freedom of faith fighters.

btw.. Prophet Mohamed was all but not compassionate.

raping girl (Safiya) after killing her relatives and torturing her husband is not compassion, at least in my eyes.

but for a moslem the rape in marriage is something hard to understand.
