not really... i think people like that are searching for the meaning to life and a way of comfort.
in religion you will find that. but only a few many caught their attention...in mike's case i guess its islam, but you also have to look at it. its not the islam in which honest muslim base their beliefs. the nation of islam is pro black and anti white to a point.

mike wanted to be enbraced by the black community again after so many years of trying to be white and damaging his body and appearance. its all in his head....but i dont know this mike brother jermaine jackson is and has been muslim since the early 90's. but he does not follow the nation.

if you know anything about the nation of islam. you will see that when macolm x returned back from the holyland. he had change his ways understanding that islam is not for blacks only. but for all men and women of color. the nation of islam disowned him..so he started his own center in which whites was able to help with. that when he was murdered..and guess who was behind that.....the nation
