Obama of America

It is strange to learn that when it comes to establishing the religious identity then any record can be authentic and the people are willing to even forget records in the gazette of their own country. Obama may have recorded his religion umpteen times as christian within USA in official records but an American is not willing to believe it. In this case an Indonesian record becomes parmount.

Anyway, why this debate got initiated in the first place. Mr Obama himself may not like to be called a muslim but the entire third world people stare at him as the deliverer of their miseries, perils and really they believe that only he can bring change. He is considered as symbol of courage and a testimony that the USA is indeed an equal opportunity provider in true sense and deed.

In my eyes the mere nomination of Barack Obama - as a presidential candidate of a major party of the US is suffient to beleive that only USA is capable to lead the world. That the country has those ingredients that are required to take the entire humanity together and not only a particular race. They say 'In God we trust" they truly do.

The victory of Obama is a secondary matter. Arif Ali
