A couple of things:

1) The reason there are so many democrats are not because of far-left progressive and world appeasement ideologies, it's because of agriculture and labor unions, where increasingly, big farmers and union bosses benefit.

2) The far-left paganism Burning-Man crowd has taken over the DNC. Obama, Reid Biden, Pelosi are all representative of these people. They don't seem to have a clue about those of us in the Mid-Atlantic, Deep South, Great West and Great Plains.

3) There is nothing wrong with helping your fellow human being. You and I have talked about the different Christian denominations, and my particular faith (Catholicism) says that the rich have an obiligation to share with the poor, HOWEVER, they cannot be FORCED to do it.

To heavily tax someone or to impose socialism is stealing from the rich. Stealing is justified ONLY for the extreme poor, if not, it requires restitution or the amount will be deducted on Judgement Day. Restitution isn't always a fun thing, either.

Certain secular progressives basically beleive in redistributing all of the wealth of the aged, white Chrisian male, but when it comes to make sacrifices on their part, they won't do it.

I studied environmental science in college (while retaining my traditional values, for all the liberal readers out there ha ha) and we have this parody know as affluenza. Affluenza is play on affluence (rich with material possessions) and influenza (an illness).

As conservative talk show Jason Lewis says: Have you ever noticed how liberals don't live next to the people they give welfare to? Have you noticed how they live in high-rise condos in the middle of the city and the solution is to export crime to the suburbs?

See, they think that everyone should have to experience crime because others do. The same thing with pollution. That way, as Lewis remarks, "oh, oh, we'll all be equal."

Ever notice how those who call for this are rich hollywood celeberties, many with personal family problems (which tends to happen when you don't have a strong, traditional family) or billionares like Mark Cuban and George Soros?

Instead of giving to the poor in the Third World, they fund anti-American soldier propaganda that not even the brains in al quedia could come up with.

Funny how that is, huh?

It was actually amusing that McCain picked Palin for his running mate, because apparently the left had all these jokes about Tim Pawlenty, the noble governor of Minnesota, who they thought would be the running mate.

I won't vote for Obama, but the pick of Palin really is making me look at McCain, because the left fears her, I'm going to consider supporting McCain.
