Dar al Harb or Dar al Islam?

Reader comment on item: Barack Obama through Muslim Eyes
in response to reader comment: Western Culture or Islam? Islam of course

Ahmed,

I have lived in the United States all my life and I have never once seen a woman walking down the street naked. Not once. And no one would call that freedom, they would call the police. And the woman would be hospitalized, not beheaded or stoned to death in our morally primitive culture.

I don't think I'd have much trouble distinguishing between a prostitute and a religious woman. But then, I've never practiced sigeh, perhaps that makes it a bit harder to tell.

A one child policy? Since when? I think you're confusing China and the USA, Ahmed. That's OK, that happens to me all the time, too. I've lived in China all my life. Oops, I mean, the USA, darn it, I got those two countries mixed up again. It's just so easy.

Many of us in the USA criticize aspects of our culture, (freely and without fear of imprisonment or murder by our government) but we know that bringing back the 7th century with murderous Islamic facism is not an answer.

It is for you, so why are you here?
