Islam Means Surrender - The Revelation of Jesus Christ Will Make That Point Very Plain to Non-Believers

There is no need to deduce the idea that the major proponents of Islam desire to see Islam as the supreme ideology of the world, whose only obstacles being the decadent west, America, and of course Israel. Did I neglect China? Only for the time being was that omission made. Listen to imams the world over and hear their rhetoric, most recently the words from Islam's Lebanese spokesman, Nasrallah.

Moving away from that, is the speculative observation of why more people (excepting the Latin populations) do not name their sons ‘Jesus.' There is probably some reason for that, and maybe someone with more insight to that circumstance can answer. In the alternative, many, many people in the west do name their sons Joshua, which is as most who recognize Biblical names, the Hebrew version of the word ‘savior', which is the real name of Jesus.

As to your main question, why did Christianity NOT conquer the world? The answer is real simple, Christians are NOT supposed to conquer the word. It is implored again, read the Word of the LORD and gain understanding.

Christianity did not receive a mission to conquer from Jesus Christ, but to witness. In that, the world is guilty of appropriating the name of Christ, of Christianity, and using it in vain to do things never called for by Jesus Christ. Christianity was a few hundred years into that mindset when the Islamic Prophet uttered the words of the Quran, so it was very easy to make deep inroads into a faithless religion, because people were not following Christ, only their empty religious practices. There was no strength of faith to be strong in the truth.

There is not a doubt in this reader's mind that whatever religion is strongest, after the removal of true Christians, is going to be the religion of choice. It will be the religion that will broker the false peace in the Middle East, and if Islam is the strongest, then your words will ring loud.

In the historical schemes of things, your surmising of the ‘end of all things' lacks scriptural basis, and is antithetical to the cosmic prognostications of most of the rest of the scientific community. In any case, without the Revelation of Jesus Christ, it could as good as a scenario as any. Oh, but, yeah, there is the Revelation, and it gives Almighty God's pronouncement of the things to come, and they about ready to unfold, some of which as this is being written.

So, as you may speculate, Islam does invade the mindset (how can it not, with every media outlet in the world pounding such things incessantly), and it will continue until everyone realizes that Israel, the apple of Almighty God's eye, is entered by her Anointed (HaMashiach) Savior (Yeshua), and Islam is lost to history in His eternal reign.
