A win-win situation

Reader comment on item: Barack Obama through Muslim Eyes

Submitted by jennifer solis (United States), Aug 26, 2008 at 17:13

Thank you, Daniel Pipes, for yet another concise and succinct view of Barack Obama "through Muslim eyes". Very objective, informative article, as always!

If Obama becomes President, Islamists, world-wide, whether considering him an "apostate" or Muslim by virtue of his birth and his middle name, will undeniably be encouraged and galvanized by Obama as commander in cheif. One will see it as license for jihad - the other will see it as license for jihad.

Ergo, Obama as President would be a win-win for Islamists.

Who would Osama Bin Laden vote for? Who would Mahmoud Ahmadinijad vote for? Who would the Palestinian Authority vote for? Who would the Muslim Brotherhood vote for? Who would Hammas vote for? Who would Hezbolla vote for?

Who would 150,000,000 Islamists the world over vote for?

Obama in the office of President will put U.S. Embassies - our troops stationed around the world - our mission in Iraq - our war against Islamism, both here and abroad - at GREAT RISK. Obama's being considered both Muslim or "murtadd" is not all that encourages the like of Ahmadinijad and Bin Laden - look at this -

Obama plans to disarm America - and the dream of Dar al-Islam is that much closer to reality.
