in response to reader comment: Understanding Of Islam Came On A Sunny Tuesday Morning Seven Years Ago

One of my friends was killed in Oklahoma City 13 years ago by 3 Christians who attacked the innocent people who were there. One of them was a Christian veteran of our armed services named Timothy McVeigh.

What conclusion should I draw from that? That all Christians are bad? That we should never elect a Christian president?

Your understanding of Islam came on 9/11 as you say.

As for me, I am going to vote for the guy who secures our nation from terrorists of all religions, Christians and Moslems and Jews, whatever. I am going to vote for the guy who knows that Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 and that they are one of the few non-Islamic countries in the middle east. They don't even speak Arabic. They speak Persian. I am going to vote for the guy that opposed the war.

What about you, Anne?
