For Moshe

Reader comment on item: Pope Benedict XVI and the Koran
in response to reader comment: Raqib, I have a few questions.

I agree honestly with the hardships and inhuman atrocities the Jewish People had to endure. See the Children of Israel were banished from their home, Jerusalem twice. The first banishment occured when Babylon's Nebuchadnezzer conqured and the second was General Titus of Rome. The condition of the Children of Israel went severe during the mass conversion of Christianity from pagan empire of Constantine. And the blame of the crucifixtion was directed to Jews.

Even in the time of Queen Isabella and Ferdinand I hope you know that very well, Islamic Ottoman Empire allowed them to dwell in their land and the Jews dwelled in the Holy City of Jerusalem. When Theodore Herzl proposed the State of Israel, 2/3 of the inhabitants of Jerusalem were Jews. Jews has lawfully purchased the land from Aab law but that does not mean that they we will be wiping out the whole Christian and Moslem Palestinians from Jerusalem. In the Bolfour Declaration, Jerusalem would be the capital of Israel and Jerusalem belongs to the Jews. When the terms were written they surely knew that The Holy City Jerusalem, is also a sacred place of both Christianity and Islam. To me it sounds rather racist. Caliphs of Islam knew that very well.

Brother Moshe, God gave the holy land to the people who worships the God of Abraham. We muslims, even I, worship the God of Abraham. I totally agree to what you wrote, " the exclusive right of the Jewish People to the Land of Israel is explicitly acknowledged even in your Koran". But God did not gave the Land to Israel without any condition. You know the condition, ask a Rabbi, he will tell you. As I have scanned your response one thing is sure that you hate Moslems. I am not blaming you for that but I would rather blame the media.

Many non muslims learned about Islam by seeing what the followers of Islam do. If you really want to know about Islam, then I suggest you to read Qur'an and Hadith. I never blamed Judaism, because I know your religion. I blamed zionist, a band of materialistic people, who actually never beleived in God. Since Yahweh gave you the holy land, they why you people aren't establishing Talmudic Law in the State of Israel?

As you have mentioned, "And finally, why do you think that Israel is not entitled to defend its citizens from murderous terrorist attacks when they originate from "Palestinian territories"". My question to you is, why do they attack you? dont you think I have done something wrong. Dont you think the palestinians men are entitled to defends their families from your politics, tanks and F-16s. I feel terribly sorry for the loss of Innocent people on both sides. I agree the "murderous terrorist attacks" on your people. I have to say "murderous terrorist attacks" on the Palestinians by the Uniform men of IDF. Long time back my Chemistry teacher told me, "When I will fight for freedom, they will lable me as terrorist. But they will never lable Hitler as Terrorist"

Your regards. Raqib Ahmed Asif.
