I think this comment is very relevant in today's times.

However, I think what we really need is to look at what the "war on terror" has spawned: Fear, and fear/hatred of Islam.

I'm a catholic, and do not have any time for these postings that say Islam is right, Christianity is wrong or Christianity is right, Islam is wrong.

People from all walks of life, throughout history, have done terrible things in the name of religion for their god.

This war on terror has caused a huge division in people and religion and purported a pathetic clash of civilizations. Instead of working together for peace and understanding, we have retreated to our corners to hide and mistrust each other.

We need to overcome our fears and barriers and meet each other halfway, for the good of human kind.
