Sacrifices are some evil shift

Reader comment on item: Pope Benedict XVI and the Koran
in response to reader comment: "Why can't God forgive sin without the need for a sacrifice?"

Interesting, I can do something that the God of the bible cannot do, this is forgive without the need of a sacrifice. God expects me to forgive my brother 70 times 7 without a sacrifice, yet he can't do the same? What type of God are people worshiping? One that needed to see animals suffer in order to forgive? If he really sent his son to be sacrifice in order to forgive me, I don't want his gift. This is crazy. What type of father would kill one of his children in order to forgive the rest of his children? This "bible God" should learn from us humans. We forgive people because of love.
