Reader comment on item: Pope Benedict XVI and the Koran
in response to reader comment: About Jesus

Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."

'Now as you can see, Jesus blessed Peter for confessing that He is the Son of God.'

Maybe Jesus blessed Peter for confessing he was the Christ...

But I must admit you pick and choose verses well... In all the other Gospels Peter only refers to Jesus as the Christ in this particular passage...

Just another example of how you have continually failed to respond with 'sound doctrine'... Show me in the 'scripture' where Jesus refers to himself as 'The Son of God', and that the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit are all one, by a means other than your personal 'deductive reasoning'... I can show you over 300+ verses that 'clearly' support my claims on both issues... ;)

2 Peter 1:20-21
First of all you must understand this, that no prophecy of scripture is a matter of one's own interpretation, because no prophecy ever came by the impulse of man, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.
