Love in th Koran

Re: love in the Koran. A while ago, I checked each time love appears. Only once does it reference God's (Allah's) love to man, and then it's on the level of (paraphrasing here): "of course God loves man, He loves all His creation." Not an intimate type of love as found many times in the Bible. For what it's worth, a devout Moslem to whom I was speaking about it had to "google" love in the Koran in order to locate it.
