Mark, you are absolutely false. While translations have obviously occurred, a proper translation (w/o such foolishness as dynamic equivalence) does not "mold" the Word.

Your thinking is not correct. Is believing and obeying God's Word now considered "Bibleism/idolatry" (obviously by those who wrest the scriptures II Pet 3.16). I suppose that when Jereboam built the two calves he could have justified it by stating that he was only trying to avoid the sin of "Bibleism/Idolatry?" God forbid that he should have obeyed the 2nd Commandment and thereby sinned against God (sarcasm in case you're not aware). And when David committed adultery, he obviously was righteous in doing so since to obey the 7th Commandment would have been "Bibleism/Idolatry" (sarcasm in case you're not aware). God's Word "will not pass away." Maybe to your disappointment? The Word of God will stand forever. How you see it shows who you really are. God's children love His Holy Word. God's enemies hate is Word and seek to undermine its authority. Like the serpent said to Eve, "hath God said." Guess what? Your post sounds like the serpent. Do you like your company? Do you like who you have patterned yourself after?

Christianity IS repenting and believing the gospel. The sign of a genuine Christian is obedience, "If you love Me, keep My commandments," Jesus said.

If you need help on the origins of and preservation of the Holy Word of God, despite the corruptions that the Roman Catholics have attempted to introduce, throughout the centuries (most notably the Vaticanus and Sinaiticus texts) please let me know. I can provide much that may open your understanding if God grants you repentance and faith.
